I will be exhibiting with The Maker Place, alongside six other talented designer-makers.
My rugs will be available online for the very first time via The Maker Place shop.
This collection has been a long time coming, and I'm so excited to finally be sharing it with the world. "Handmarks" takes its inspiration from natural landscapes, indigenous textiles, and the process of mapping, travelling and walking.
Each rug will be made to order. and handwoven in my studio in south east London. Customers will be choose their preferred colour combination and size, and partner with me in the process of creating something unique for their home. The rugs are all woven on my 1976 Harris floor loom, using high-twist, reinforced rug wool on a linen or cotton warp.
I'm currently hard at work in the studio getting the collection ready, and I'll be sharing more about it and the process behind it over the coming weeks, and during London Design Fair. You can also follow my progress on my instagram, where I'll be posting my day-to-day progress.
Looking forward to seeing you all in two weeks!
